Christ in the Book of Ruth
Pastor Kachelmeier on Issues, Etc. talking about Christ in the book of Ruth. Chapter one opens by stating that there was a famine in the land. Thus, a man from Bethlehem in Judah sojourned in Moab. Then Naomi returns to the land with Ruth when she hears that the LORD has visited the land of Judah giving food. In the last chapter of the book, we are told Ruth has a son named Obed. Obed is the father of Jesse and Jesse is the father of David. In this book, the people of God our taught to wait in anticipation for the Son of David who will come and visit the land.
